Suzie’s Testimonial

“Katherine has been advising me on nutrition for the past year. I have quite a complex set of challenges for any practitioner to navigate so it takes someone pretty special to have the curiosity and knowledge to support me in all of the various goals i am looking to achieve. I have a neurological movement disorder, Generalised Dystonia. I am also currently on pregnancy number three and have had gestational diabetes in all my pregnancies, with problems managing my sugar levels from a very early stage of pregnancy. Earlier in the year my iron levels feel very low to borderline anaemic which made me feel exhausted and generally very unwell.

Katherine has kindly and wisely steered me though all of these experiences and hurdles. She has a very broad knowledge of nutrition and, i feel most importantly, is an incredibly warm, kind, generous individual who immediately puts you at ease and feel relaxed in her presence. She has advised me in everything from sleep to fertility and energy to stress management.

My low iron levels were making me feel extremely lethargic and i was picking up infections constantly. My husband and i were trying to conceive but i started to worry that we would be unable to. I went to the doctor to have blood tests taken. It was at this point that my very low iron levels were picked up. Katharine advised me which supplements I should take and some diet changes. I followed her advice to the letter. Five months later my bloods were retaken (at an initial consultation with my midwife!) and my iron levels were optimal. I felt much more energised and was at the time 6 weeks pregnant :-)

Life can be overwhelming at times and we all need a bit of a helping hand to get us back on track, and making the most of our health and wellbeing. For me, Katherine is a bit part of making that happen, and a pretty awesome person to have in one’s life. I could not recommend her more highly.”
